FMM WEBINAR ON UNDERSTANDING LICENSED MANUFACTURING WAREHOUSE (LMW)

In Malaysia, a Manufacturing Bonded Warehouse is known as a Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW), established under the provisions of Section 65/65A of the Customs Act 1967. The LMW scheme was introduced in line with the Government’s policy to further promote the growth of export-oriented industries. LMW allows manufacturing processes to be carried out in licensed warehouses with minimal customs procedures. This course is designed for employees from supply chain and support departments who wish to enhance their knowledge and understanding of LMW concepts. It also provides an in-depth explanation of key policies and regulations, including Eligibility, Types of Premises, Location of LMW, and the Responsibilities of the LMW Licensee. In addition, this course serves as a platform for participants to clarify doubts, raise issues, and resolve challenges related to LMW.

Participants will be able to:

• Learning the License Application and Renewal Procedures.
