SPEAKER
Mr Kesavan is Human Resource/Industrial Relations Advisor at the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM).
He holds a Master’s in Human Resource Management from the Open University of Malaysia.
He began his career as an Enforcement Officer with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (1981–1997) before serving as an Industrial Relations Officer at the Ministry of Human Resources (1997– 2008).
From 2008 to 2015, he was Deputy Director of Enforcement at the Department of Labour Peninsular Malaysia, and later served as Principal Assistant Secretary, Labour Policy Division, Ministry of Human Resources until his retirement in 2017.
He has conducted numerous public and in- house training programmes on employment legislation, discipline, misconduct, and
domestic inquiries, and currently advises members on compliance with labour laws and disciplinary matters.
