On January 21, 2026, FMM President Mr. Jacob Lee Chor Kok hosted a courtesy meeting with senior representatives from the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) to discuss the future of industrial innovation.
Accompanied by Dr. Helena (Chairman, FMM Selangor & KL), Prof. Ir. Dr. Edwin Tan Chee Pin (FMM Smart Manufacturing Committee), and Datuk Dr. Yeoh Oon Tean (FMM CEO), the team met with Mr Chuck Fung, General Manager, Robotic and AI, Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and Ms Kate Yau, Senior Manager, Intelligent Applications, Robotics and AI, Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC). The meeting focused on a shared vision for AI integration, Digital Transformation and support local SMEs through Smart Manufacturing technology.
Both parties expressed a strong commitment to exploring formal avenues for collaboration, aiming to strengthen the manufacturing ecosystem through cross-border knowledge exchange and innovation.
