Courtesy Visit by the Bangladesh High Commission to FMM Johor – November 07,2025
FMM Johor received a delegation from the Bangladesh High Commission on 7 November 2025 for a courtesy visit and engagement session to strengthen cooperation on matters related to Bangladeshi workers in the manufacturing sector.
The delegation was led by H.E. Mr. Manjurul Karim Khan Chowdhury, High Commissioner, Ms. Mosammat Shahanara Monica, Minister & Deputy High Commissioner, Mr. Pranab Kumar Bhattacharjee, Counsellor (Political) & Head of Chancery (HOC).
FMM Johor was represented by Mr. Saw Seong Ho, Chairman, Mr. Chan Chee Meng, Vice Chairman, Mr. Michael Loke, Branch Committee, Ms. Christine Lee, Branch Committee, Mr. Jason, FMM Member, Ms. Jessica Chu Hong, Head of Branch, Puan Zuraidahnur Zulkifli, Secretariat and Encik Mohd Saiful Kamaludin, Secretariat.
The meeting discussed ongoing labour-related matters, including facilitation of passport services for Bangladeshi workers, consular engagements, and opportunities for closer collaboration between FMM Johor members and the High Commission.
FMM Johor expresses its appreciation to the High Commission for the constructive engagement and looks forward to continued cooperation.
